HOW MANY YEARS HAVE YOU BEEN TATTOOING?

I’ve been tattooing since 2017.

HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

AM I ALLOWED TO BRING IN MY CHILDREN WITH ME?

NO. I will make no exceptions. Please come alone when you get tattooed.

AM I ALLOWED TO BRING MY FRIENDS WITH ME?

NO. Please come alone when you come and get tattooed. I prefer to have no one except the client in my room. I work best when my environment is quiet and calm.

WHAT STYLES DO YOU PREFER TO TATTOO?

I prefer to tattoo portraits, anime tattoos, and neo traditional work.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING WHEN I GET TATTOOED?

Bring a phone charger if you’d like to be entertained by your phone. (NO ZOOM meetings please)

Bring a jacket in case it gets cold in the shop.

Bring a drink/small snack if you’re getting a larger tattoo

Bring a book or headphones (podcast/shows/music)

(I prefer to stay quiet & concentrate on the tattoo when I’m tattooing)

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?

I accept all cash apps. (Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, etc.)

or cash (no credit cards/checks please)

HOW LONG ARE EACH TATTOO SESSION?

Each session is roughly 3-4 hours.

Don’t plan anything the day you are getting tattooed. I will not rush a tattoo. Be prepared to stay longer if needed.

A larger tattoo can take up to 6-7 hours.

WHEN CAN I SEE MY TATTOO SKETCH?

The day of the appointment. I work on each tattoo sketch the night before the appointment.

CAN I CHANGE MY TATTOO IDEA LAST MINUTE?

Yes but please send the changes of the design to Melina 2-3 days before the appt.

COVID?

You have the choice to wear or don’t wear the mask. Melina will not be wearing a mask.

If you have symptoms of sickness the day of the appt. Melina will ask you to reschedule.

HOW MUCH FOR A TATTOO?

Minimum is $100 and up.

Portraits are $300 and up.

The prices are determined by the tattoo design, size, and if color/black & grey.

HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO BE TATTOOED?

You must be 18 yrs old.

HOW MUCH DOES A TATTOO HURT?

While getting a tattoo, you will experience a slight burning feeling like a sunburn. The larger the tattoo, the stronger the sensation.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY TATTOO?

I will gently bandage the tattoo and you will remove the wrap after 2 hours. You will want to wash your hands with anti microbial liquid hand soap and dry them. Once your hands have been properly cleaned, you will remove the wrap and gently wash the tattoo with the hand soap and luke warm water. Pat dry the tattoo with a paper towel and air dry. Once it’s done drying, apply a thin layer of Aquaphor.

Avoid direct sunlight for 2 weeks. Avoid soaking the tattoo for at least 10 days. NO baths, pools, spas, hot tubs, salt water, ocean, lakes etc.

Apply the ointment 4-6 times daily. You will need to apply it as many times as it takes to keep it moist. Continue with the ointment for no longer than 3-5 days. After 5 days switch to a mild moisturizer like Lubriderm. Expect your tattoo to peel by itself and become itchy.

DO NOT PICK OR SCRATCH your new tattoo as this will affect the end result of your tattoo.
